This full day event is draws from the discipline of phenomenology and uses methodologies based both on the work of J. W von Goethe and on oriental health practices. The material of the lectures is further explored using creative mediums, and incorporating activities to help people become more sensitive to the dynamics happening around them…. That is, to develop their skills in direct perception. Learning to stay connected to the world in direct ways and hone our senses to be more sensitive to the patterns in our environment is a skill that is not routinely taught in mainstream education. However, in a rapidly changing and complex world it can be invaluable.
The theoretical component of this seminar is explained in a document you can download here. This document covers more areas than will be covered in this seminar, the section titled Seeing the Universe in a Grain of Sand is the most relevant part of the document for this seminar.
